NE ALTERNATE: Flat Creek Rd is now gated on both north and south sides between Godbold Dr. and Mechanicsville Hwy. Bypass the gate by taking Mechanicsville Hwy then east on Mont Clare Rd. and then head north on Flat Creek Rd.

ALT LONG CANE: This alternate (located between McCormick and Abbeville) is closed for an extended repair of the Long Cane Creek Bridge (on Charleston Rd W). The Long Cane Massacre historical site is likely still accessible when approaching the bridge from the east. Resolution date is unknown.
